About The Artwork

primed canvas 100% flax manufacturer Italy. materials - watercolor, colored pencils, acrylic, oil. The plot of the work on the materials of a chronically documentary film shot by a French cameraman in Vladivostok in 1919. Officer in the foreground Radola Gajda - (Rudolf Geidl). Czechoslovak military leader and politician. November 17, 1919 in Vladivostok led a rebellion prepared by the Social Revolutionaries against the Kolchak authorities. Gaida appeared in a general overcoat without chases, calling everyone to arms under the slogan: "Quite a civil war. We want peace! " The rebellion, however, was not supported by the inhabitants of Vladivostok. On the third day, the riot was pacified by a training instructor company that arrived from the Russian Island. Gayda and some of his assistants were arrested. At the request of the allied missions, Hyde was released and left Russia.
