ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I the 16th century Dutch painters became world famous for their exquisite paintings of flower bouquets. Each flower more beautiful than the real item let alone flowers that might not be blooming at the same time. Realism plus. My attempt is to portray each flower bloom in an abstract way to convey the essence of each flower on its singular stem or as a single flower as it may usually be grouped in mass of flowerletts on single stalk.
