About The Artwork
This painting was one of the first I created in March,3030 after being told we must stay in our homes because of the Coronavirus Pandemic, I hadn’t painted in a few months before but something happened to my state of mind, that I could not stop painting, Everyday from March 12, I created a canvas and left it as it was created. No future changes, When I finished this it appeared to me that the red lines were actually people standing on line to be tested. In March, we heard a lot about getting tested. So I called it Waiting in Line. I was so immersed in what was happening to our lives my way out of going crazy was to paint. And it I’d July 34 and I am still gusting a painting a day. Creating. Art is good therapy for anyone. I have decided to call this series of work My Autobiography of my experience with the Coronsvirus Pandemic,

I paint Abstract-Expressionist paintings with rice paper and canvas, sometimes found objects. Three years ago, I entered a juried competition for photography in Barcelona Spain. Fotonostrum Gallery. The images i sent were photos taken of broken concrete sidewalks, walls, streets from around the world.I entered for three years three different exhibits with different jurors and I was accepted all three times. I traveled to Barcelona three years in a row. I am very proud of this, since I am not a photographer, but a painter. I have been lucky to have been accepted with my paintings into many juried exhibits and have shown my work in many galleries. Also, selling many.
