This image dates from an August night while I was waiting for people attending a wedding celebration in a rural setting outside of Nanton, Alberta. I was struck by the pervasive darkness urban dwellers rarely experience. The single light comes from inside the motorcoach; beyond that, there is darkness all the way to the horizon. It’s a moody piece.
