About The Artwork
Loosely based on the fairytale: 'The Frog Prince' this painting tells a story of awakening - for me it was the the day I 'woke up' and became vegan (hence the cow is being kissed). For people who see this painting it could mean another more personal awakening in their life. The metaphor of the 'awakening kiss' is used in many fairytales and signifies and time of deep inner growth and realisation after a period of sleep (where the inner growth began).
