About The Artwork

Original fine art canvas painting for sale by artist Jacob von Sternberg, JVS Titled: Walk With Creation JVS Collection: Tokyo Echoes Medium: Acrylics on original Belgium Flanders Heritage Canvas Size: 49.21 x 41.73 inches - 125x106cm Orientation: Can be hung horizontal or vertical, which gives you utmost flexibility. Story of this one-of-a-kind canvas painting in light turquoise and black: „Walk with creation. This original painting is created in my Tokyo Echoes style with which I begun my polytonal paintings. I started with this unique concept during my time in Japan, Tokyo, Yokohama and later continued my research in New York City, Boston and San Francisco. A time full of miracles, wonders and magic. I travelled the world in search for my family and never planned to make new friendships, meet the kindest people. The frequent meditations outside Yokohama in the zen garden of my friends were so unforgettable. Calm, tranquil, a Garden of Eden. Following my path, trusting my intuition, the painting developed largely out of itself during a period of very intense alternating meditation and painting. Every single, fine drip and every brushstroke was placed in a very sensitive way caressing the canvas.“ Provenance: Jacob’s paintings are all signed on the back side with the painting’s title, collection title, date of creation and also come with a certificate of authenticity. An additional signature in the front is always possible on request. Each painting is numbered by the artist with sales records to ensure collectors of authenticity and provenance. (Los Angeles, New York City, Long Island, Florida, Washington D.C., Chicago, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Ohio, and Cincinnati) "In my life there were very challenging experiences that have shaped my view of life itself. What remains is the love and kindness in my heart, which I cherish like a treasure. Whatever happens in life, the beat of our hearts decides the path. The essence of unity is reflected in my art. I travelled the world in search of my family and eventually achieved the healing of generations through my relentless search and longing to reunite my family on two continents. By nature I am actually rather shy and very sensitive. I love to support others. Love to speak about unity, about love, and all the wonders I witnessed on my journey around the world. I am grateful you are interested in my work. Art is my life. My work features small, medium, large and also extra large scale paintings on a very wide variety of surfaces. I use canvas, paper, wood, and several nonconventional surfaces such as time worn wood, vintage papers, and antique textiles, and metal findings that I have collected over the years during my travels. I often paint with tools that I have developed myself or use unconventional ones. At times I refuse to use brushes and painter's knives and use only things from everyday life in an adapted form to create my art. My sculptural works feature beach wood, textile surfaces in combination with colored resin, and a selection of antique findings.
