Walking with a Dog is a memory that brings to mind moments of peace and contact with nature, which appears here not only in the form of a dog, but also in the form of water, sand, sky, clouds and a light present only a moment after sunset. This painting shows my fascination with Japanese art, Japanese woodcuts, which are unrivaled in terms of their ability to depict a landscape. The work is painted on linen canvas stretched on wooden looms. I only use professional oil paints with the highest quality pigments that are resistant to fading. I prepare the medium myself to ensure that my paintings have bright colors and a noble shine. The sides of the painting are painted continuously, so the painting does not require framing. The painting is ready to hang on the wall. The signature is on the side of the painting, and on the back I placed the title and date of creation.

Jacek Sikora - an actor by profession, painter by choice, traveler by twist of fate. He began his adventure with art by working on stage. Studies at Ecole Internationale de Mimodrame de Paris, and Ecole de Mime Corporel Dramatique opened him to the expression and code of gestures of the human body. The trace of stage work can be found in his figurative works, in which man is always at the center. His artistic path has evolved from acting and pantomime towards visual arts and easel painting. Enchanted by traditional Far Eastern ink painting on paper, he begins his artistic search with figurative art based on monochrome color, in which we find the most characteristic features of his work - color and detail minimalism. Over time, his works evolve towards color field painting, reducing detail from abstract paintings and introducing color to figurative ones, which emphasizes the importance of the symbols hidden in the paintings. Today, paintings by Jacek Sikora can be found in collections in Great Britain, USA, Russia, Australia, France, Cyprus, Emirates and Japan. He lives and works in Świdnica.
