About The Artwork

Elderly gentleman walking up the hill in Hergla, Tunisia. Watercolour on paper. Framable size is14x20 cm Ships framed, ready to hang on wall, or stand on shelf. Custom cut mat, can easily be put into another standard sized frame (18x24 cm) I painted this already in 2015, when I had just discovered the joy of painting. I found it in a drawer now in 2020, and thought it might bring someone else joy too, so I framed it. The scene is from Hergla, in Tunisia. An elderly gentleman in traditional robes was struggling up the hill, slow and steady. It was a fine day in December.
