About The Artwork
Created during the early events of uprising in the middle east, this image come from a sketchbook that I was holding a couple of years ago when at the time I decided to work with the jigsaw form. This image is reminiscing of the paintings of Goya(The Third of May 1808, 1814) and Edouard Manet(Execution of the Emperor Maximilian, 1867).This is a reminder of the heavy price civilians have got to pay to defend their liberties and freedom of speech.
