I have used Acrylic Pour method with very liquid paint and a pouring medium to allow the paint to flow freely. The painting is on mounted, stretched vinyl. I have sealed it with two coats of semi gloss varnish. Please note that I have tried to portray the painting as close to the original colouring as possible. A Lot of the darker brown colouring in the picture is actually metalic copper. These colours have a sheen which has made this artwork extremely difficult to photograph without distorting all the other colours. The reddish orange shade is quite vibrant most accurately shown in the second close-up picture. The thicker background is Titanium White which has allowed me to comb the wave contours and has colours from the background showing through where I have combed the wet paint - this gives these deeper lines a greyish colour as the under-painting shows through and is seen in some of the close-up shots. My paintings are securely packaged by me and I have included the brown wooden painted frame in the main photograph. The painting is secured to the back of this frame with two screws and if preferred can be carefully removed on delivery. It will be used as part of the packaging crate and may need to be touched up if you do decide to use it as a frame.

South Africa
I have tried many different art forms over the years including pottery, stained-glass, photography and many others. Since retiring from a career as a school librarian some years ago I have been privileged to enjoy experimenting with acrylics and various materials and textures and am always game to try something new or different. My experimenting techniques have lead to some interesting effects but have included the odd disaster that has literally gone up in flames. I have a great love for all of Gods creation but particularly for Africa, its people and wildlife and have tried to interpret this in my personal expression of artwork. I was born in East London South Africa in 1953 and moved to Durban some 25 years ago. I am a proud wife, mother of 2 & grandmother with 4 delightful grandchildren
