About The Artwork

Time passes by quickly and we soon forget about the things we have and the things we had. We see these things all around us, forgotten and unused. In the 'Used to be' series, old items are presented in a way to make us think about the time we have. 'We used to catch fish!' is a loose watercolour artwork, presented in monotone black and white. The paint is given freedom to move and the eerie boats, forgotten by most, come into view. Created using high quality, professional watercolour pigment on 300g rough grain cotton paper. The piece itself measures 26 x 36cm, but is presented in a modern black frame of 40 x 50 cm.

A white passepartout border highlights the art and brings forth the colour to the viewer.

The frame is finished with museum quality, UV protective, non reflective crystal to give a clearer view and preserve the work for years to come.
