About The Artwork
This is the first piece I painted using cold wax and oil paint on arches oil paper. The piece took many twists and turns as the layers developed through a process called playing. Yes it was a fun process and there were many moments when I questioned whether it would ever be finished. But through the process of experimentation, covering and uncovering layers eventually the final painting emerged.
