What a quiet night (Nich yaka tykhaya) Painting

The painting was created during 2021-2022. At the beginning of the creation of the work, the idea was based on the flow of the unconscious in a cold color palette using textures and contrasts. As a result of the painting process, the work received a feeling of the night sky, with hyperbolized moonlight and the depth of darkness. The first title of the work was "Moonlight Night". However, after Russia's attack on Ukraine on February 24, 2022, the night in the mind of the author and many Ukrainians began to be perceived as a time of battle, when the sounds of alarms and bombing are heard somewhere in the dark. Since then, the author wants the night to be quiet, without alarms and sounds of explosions. This became a new meaning of the picture.
