About The Artwork
This work was inspired by the shaman's journeys through blackbird song. I want you to watch and tell yourself where the blackbird's song would lead you, how it feels for you're experience. Abstract works speak to me because it gives me, as a creator, the opportunity to move on different levels. It is also important for me as an artist that I use as much recycled material as possible, the wooden board used as a base in this work is a wooden board left over from the construction of bridges.
