When I came to the hilly park, the sun was already leaving. I knew that if I sat down to paint now, almost at sunset, I would not have time to finish this painting. But the light was so beautiful and gentle, everything glowed with peach and lavender hues, especially the bark of trees. And I stayed there to do a quick sketch. The sun quickly ran away from me, but the experienced feelings remained. Together with the sketch, I managed to restore the picture already at home: soft purple shadows, pink gliding along tree trunks, the first tender greenery, the wind in the blue grass and the first tender yellow dandelions. Now I have a living beautiful memory that I can share with others. The landscape turned out so gentle and bright that it touches to the core. Materials: Soft pastels on pastel paper 160 gsm.
