Whisper Painting

Kawsar Ahmed is a Manchester-based artist whose passion for art began in childhood. His early talent led to top academic achievements in art and formal training with a Foundation Diploma in Fine Art, followed by a BA in Graphic Design, completed in 2005. Specialising in expressive abstract art, Kawsar’s work is defined by vivid colours, striking motifs, and dynamic mark-making. His mixed-media pieces reflect a fascination with the rich histories of the Eastern world and the resilience of the human spirit in the face of adversity. Inspired by cultural complexity and human endurance, his textured compositions explore movement, emotion, and harmony. Each element—line, shape, and form—serves a distinct purpose, echoing the layered narratives of human existence. Kawsar continues to create original abstract works for homes, businesses, and exhibitions. He was featured on BBC One’s Home is Where the Art Is (Season 2), where he won a final commission, and his work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Mauritius International Art Fair and the Istanbul International Art Show.
