"Whispers in the Wind" is a captivating mixed-media artwork on paper, created using watercolour as the foundation, with acrylic and oil pastels layered on top. The composition weaves together a tapestry of abstract imagery, evocative phrases, and elements of flowers, hearts, clothes and text. The painting begins with a delicate watercolor layer that serves as the canvas upon which I build a rich and layered narrative. Throughout the painting, phrases in oil pastels emerge, forming enigmatic and thought-provoking messages. The word "Noise" adds an element of discord and chaos. Flying pieces of clothes, outlined with white or yellow pastels, seem to fly in the air. The clothes represent freedom, encouraging viewers to embrace their true selves. Out of the clothes, white lines emerge, symbolising the essence of one's identity breaking free from external constraints. Amidst the abstract chaos, delicate flowers emerge. Their presence represents growth, resilience, and the beauty that can emerge from even the most tumultuous situations. Hearts speak of love, compassion, and the emotional connections that make us human. Transparency plays a crucial role in the composition. Elements overlap and blend, conveying a sense of harmony. The interplay of watercolor, acrylic, and oil pastels creates a multi-dimensional and textured artwork. "Whispers in the Wind" invites viewers to embark on an introspective journey, delving into the enigmatic phrases and interpreting the abstract imagery through their own experiences. Nataliia invites the viewer on a journey of playful self-discovery and encourage to look at the world from a different perspective.
