About The Artwork
This is one of six double paneled paintings that were at the Varley Gallery Ontario as part of my exhibition The Buddha Composed. These paintings combined a smaller dark realistic panel, here with a buried mummified racoon and bitten plum in the same contextual frame as a lightly rendered traditionally depicted Tibetan protective deity.
