White Clematis Painting

I have never seen Clematis in real life but I did see how Monet pictured them. His “White Clematis” was exhibited in Vienna once, along with the other well-known artworks of the master. I was walking the halls with Monet’s famous lilies and landscapes surrounded by dozens of people waiting for their turn to take a picture. And then, suddenly, I noticed this painting… there was no crowd gathered; it was so plain, modest, and uncomplicated, both technique and colour-wise; just white flowers on a green background. No hidden meaning, no story behind it. However, when I looked at this painting, my heart trembled for a second. Something deep in my soul reacted to it and tears even came to my eyes. What have these white flowers reminded me of? I can’t explain it. Was it something kind and honest - nice, warm, and light - something prominent and valuable to my soul, or something that happened in the past? I believe this is called ‘REAL ART’. It won’t let you stay indifferent. It will fill you with thoughts, memories, emotions, and reflections. Inspired by this nice experience, I tried to create my own White Clematis to keep these kind memories of which Monet’s art reminded me.
