ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is an acrylic on canvas piece. The canvas was first painted solid black for the base of the painting. Then I came in with several layers of blues and grays over the black background using several different techniques to blend out the color with no lines. Next the white line was painted to add impact and texture to the overall piece. This is a Rothko inspired painting.
