About The Artwork

If you reverse the word "GOD" we can read it as a dog, it is the opposite of that, it is like saying "burning in water and drowning in fire" is not meant to be a title that insults "faith" and God in itself but to move you to think. In what a very materialistic world we live in today and how much we have changed the values of most people how much their own greed and "Ego" has taken over them and their own greed and "Ego" .that the rule of money has taken over their minds and values like religion and that supposedly have been forgotten, money and prosperity has become a god for most of us. "Dog" in the title is meant to be a deliberate provocation, the image itself is it . I once exhibited this painting at an art fair, I wanted to see people's reactions, one woman approached it and started crying, without stopping, this painting moved her, I did not ask her why she was crying, because my feeling told me that she probably did not fully understand the message ,that was hidden there. However, the reaction itself was extinguished my expectations.

The human being is a complex and fascinating subject for artists like Damian Noir. With a deep interest in history and human civilizations, Noir delves into the intricacies of human nature, exploring the emotions, struggles, and triumphs that make us who we are. Inspired by artists like Basquiat, Daniel Richter, and Julian Schnabel, Noir combines elements of modern art with the techniques of the old masters to create powerful and evocative works that speak to the human experience. He takes inspiration from a wide range of sources, including music, movies, cities, and the writing of poets like Charles Bukowski. For Noir, the human being is a source of endless inspiration, and his work is infused with a deep sense of melancholy and emotion. He is particularly drawn to the blues, which he sees as a powerful and expressive medium for exploring the pain and struggles of everyday life. Through his art, Noir seeks to reveal the beauty and complexity of the human experience, and to explore the depths of the human soul. Whether through powerful brushstrokes or subtle nuances of color and light, his work is a reflection of the human condition, and a powerful tribute to the beauty and resilience of the human spirit.
