‘Why Me’ is deep in thought who knows what she is thinking, about her past, future? My Ladies are all beautiful, women don’t need faces or clothes to portray beauty. My Ladies come in all shapes and sizes they could be from anywhere in the world. Beauty is a feeling, a glow inside that radiates out, I try to capture that glow with every knife stroke, I wanted ‘Why me’ to look a little complex and deep in thought. I want the tone beautifully considered, profoundly sympathetic, and deeply respectful and admiring of the female form portrayed in a atmosphere of wonder, intrigue in all its humble yet life-affirming glory. Someone asked me once how do you know when a paintings finished, I said when I’m happy with it. I want my feelings to come out in my work and I hope those feelings come through and people looking at my work can sense those feelings and enjoy my work. I could go on and on but that sums me and my work up nicely. The best exhibition of all………those of my paintings hanging on walls at homes, offices and hotels of my valued clients.

Thailand
Ta Byrne is a Thai artist who lives and works on the beautiful island of Koh Samui, just off the south coast of Thailand. Her Oil Paintings . are vibrant, eye-catching and packed with a sense of fun and humour. Ta takes humans as her focal point in her Figurative Painting but abstracts these figures by distorting them and using a cartoonish style to create a more humorous feel. While her work is mostly representational, she incorporates Surrealist elements in many of her paintings, making her one of the most exciting artists working in Thailand today. Ta comes from humble beginnings, living out her childhood on the rural outskirts of Bangkok as a farmer's daughter. During her teen years, she worked sewing shirts in a Bangkok sweatshop, and it was during this time that she met an old street artist who invited her to his studio. This sparked her desire to become an artist, and since then, she has gone on to produce Abstract and Cubist paintings that have received international acclaim from art connoisseurs.
