Wide Brown Land and Barrier Ranges is a landscape study in oil paint loosely representative of a sensation of a the vast open space and the distance Barrier Ranges in the mid north west of New South Wales Australia. It is a mining and farming region. A land with few fences, somewhat deserted, where kangaroos and goats roam freely. The work is inspired by greats including John Olsen, Fred Williams, Sally Gabori.
