''My name is Roxana, I was born in Constanta, Romania. My first experiences as an artist was when I moved in United Kingdom and I started painting. Passionate about art, I love the process of learning and constantly challenge myself to see the world in different ways. It’s not the subject itself, but the essence, or nature that matters. That’s what I look for in my paintings. My art it is a love story between colors, light and shadows, a mélange between pure geometry of feelings and all paradoxes of human nature, it is our love story. An epiphany, a concept born between me and him, a woman and a man, reflecting our connection, our thoughts, our dreams, our feelings, all expressed in a continuous growing collection paintings. It is a poetry written on canvas with drops from woman soul on fire. It is all about emotions, pure beauty and abstract elegance, sometimes reflected in stillness, sometimes in motion. My interests are quite varied as I’m most drawn to thoughts, mysterious and evocative imagery but the nature itself is important inspiration based on my feelings from that moment when I am in front of my canvas. I believe that being an artist is something that one is born to do and not learned at school, I went on to study through practical experience, learning through trial and error and self-learning studying the works of the great artists like Van Gogh, Picasso, Warhol. I work primarily in acrylics and I currently work from Ireland and United Kingdom.’’
