About The Artwork

In order to express the invisible wind, I searched various materials and came to find a material called reed. Currently reeds are mainly drawn, but sometimes they use different materials to express the wind, such as the sea. However, reeds continue to be attracted by the fact that they make things invisible, like wind, visible while still having solid properties. process processWork process attaches 장지3합지 3-ply oriental paper(jangji 3hab) to panel using flour glue. At this time, sprinkle water evenly on the paper and attach it after the paper is stretched in order to attach it by using the stretching property that is characteristic of oriental paper such as 'Jangji, Hwasunji'. After that, '아교 agyo(glue)' is used as a work. Use '아교 agyo(glue)' to burn it at a suitable concentration in water and paint it 0 ~ 3 times and repeat it. Depending on the condition of the paper and the working situation, it will not be added or added. It improves the preservation of paper and makes it a good quality for drawing. Then, the 먹 meog(ink) is made to a suitable color, and then the background work is performed. The work is performed between 0 and 5 times. If I want to make it a little brighter, I can skip this process. If I want a darker color, repeat the process longer.  In the 'Wind Sentiment Series' I draw, all the works have their own representative color so that they are painted in one color. In this process, grind the '동양물감(분채)Oriental paints(bunchae, pigments made of stone)', mix the '아교 agyo(glue)', knead it, dissolve it in water and paint and dry it 5 to 10 times. In this process, even when the paper is dry, it can take at least four to two days to take 1-3 weeks or more. At the same time, sketch on a `` noruji '' (sketch paper). Inscribe the sketch using pressure on the panel. After that, the engraved sketch is repainted with a light ink. One sketch is drawn three times. After that, I started to paint, and I continued to try to draw reeds and selectively draw them.

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I was born in Incheon in Korea. I've been a painter since I was young. I went to high school in art high school and majored in oriental art. I'm graduated from Suwon University with the same major. And I still draw using traditional techniques. It is interesting to interpret traditional techniques modernly.
