On a walk along a hill the fringe of the touristy area of Mykonos, behind the windmills that are usually viewed from the waterfront, I saw a local-looking old man with a white beard sitting at the base of one of the windmills. He looked like he could have been sitting there as long as the windmills were, although, for all I know, he might have been a tourist.
