About The Artwork
I stumbled into this worn down structure being used as a storage shed at a fancy golf course. It struck me, not only because it was utterly out of place in the well-groomed, high-end landscape, but because there had to be a story there. Why had it been left to wither and crumble? The texture and colors of the peeling paint and the blue window frame begged me to paint them. There is something so intriguing about a window, especially one so beaten down—like it knows so much more than we do. It holds tight to its secrets and leaves us to simply wonder.
