GiGi is a self-taught, eccentric abstract artist in Nicaragua. GiGi, as he signs his paintings has been painting since 1985. His artwork is widely collected by art collectors in Latin America. He paints what he feels and isn’t concerned with fitting in with everyone else. He says “ that it is shown in the art I create or give birth to” In his work, he realizes artistic conceptions in the field of abstract expressionism. To GiGi, his form is not limited or bound by languages, the feelings and emotions are more important than the regimentation and reason.
