This beautiful light and uplifting painting is done in blue ink and watercolors on paper. From the "Blue Worlds" Series. Since 2016 I have been working a lot with Gouache and watercolors because it gives paintings a lightness and airyness I like very much. The colors shine bright and landscapes can be seen as abstract world, where the eye likes to wander around and find interesting spots to look at. You can either see a colorful landscape with sky, waves, beaches and sea or you could think of a more spiritual dimension to nature and the world, the greatness that can be seen in a beautiful landscape... the freshness, the light, the feeling of becoming renewed in nature... 30x30x0,1cm. Watercolors and Ink on Paper. Ready mounted with matte to be put in a 50x50 cm frame, signed on the matte and back with certificte of authenticity. Please note that colors may vary slightly on different monitors. Shipping costs cover professional packing materials, insurance, transport etc but not customs/duties. Shipping unframed works overseas is usually much cheaper so if you want to save money, ask me for the works unframed! © 2018 Gesa Reuter - All rights reserved

Germany
Based in Germany, Gesa Reuter’s artistic practice started in 1996. She has since studied the techniques of the old Dutch masters, layering selfmade gouache, egg tempera and sometimes oil to build her paintings with different layers of paint from thin to thick. Recently she has discovered the power of watercolours and ink in her work, enjoying the way the watery materials leave marks and traces to describe her inner feelings and emotions. Rather than painting an accurate visual representation of a landscape, she prefers to use the power of memory; her artworks are an expression of her feelings and emotions in the moment of experiencing the landscape." (Inside Artists, Issue 9, Summer 2017) So far, her works have been exhibited in Germany and Europe, mainly sold to private collectors in Germany, U.S.A., UK, NL, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, to architects, small companies, private medical and psychological practices. In public collection of Amateras Foundation, Bulgaria, NHS England and Kunsthaus Stove, Germany.
