ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I wanted to paint this painting because of the shadows of the crepe myrtle trees which textually made this painting so interesting to me. It also made me think how different landscapes look based upon the shadows at different times of days and seasons. Shadows make landscapes very interesting. I wonder if we appreciate different experiences in life because of those shadowy dark moments we too experience. I hope someone viewing this painting will reflect upon that. No need for a frame, sides are painted. Wired and ready to hang.
