About The Artwork
"Winter sunset near Chernigov or the Sword of Mikhail", series "Landscapes" In February 2021, I was on an excursion in the city of Chernihiv, Ukraine. On the way back to Kiev, I was attracted by the glow of an unusual sunset. This sunset reminded me of the sword of Archangel Michael. The sun's rays reflected on the snow and gave the impression of fire. It was a very impressive sight!
