ABOUT THE ARTWORK
When the winter finally comes to an end in New England and the our ancient Crab Apple Tree blooms in May, I have, at first glance out the window, mistaken the falling petals for snow. This seasonal confusion inspired a composition about the circularity and persistence of the natural world and its inhabitants.
