About The Artwork
"Woman and Bird" is an experience in the studio as the result is this strange portrait. The style is realist mosaic abstraction and surrealism. He worked hard on primed hardboard base impregnated with a synthetic varnish in order to gain his resistance to weather. The paints are oil, and relief is achieved by layering paint. The picture was painted in two stages - in 1988 and 1998.
