"Das verpasste Gespräch" / "The Missed Conversation" - A young woman with a flower in the sunset surrounded by flora.

The background of the work is structured in three parts. In the upper part, the blue sky, free of clouds, in the middle part, nature, consisting of a green landscape of different shades of green, in the lower part the light is depicted.
The setting sun peeks out between green plants, purple fruits and leaves.
A young woman is shown in the foreground. She has a slightly crouched posture and is turned away from the viewer. However, the head is turned towards the viewer and the gaze is fixed. The woman is holding a flower in her right hand. The flowers of the flower give the impression that they have already faded.

The date, title and signature are on the back.

About The Artwork

Alexandra Czierpka mainly works with acrylic paint with strong gestural lines, variations on large areas and color contrasts. She absorbs memories, but is also often seduced by spontaneous impressions and emotions. Alexandra allows these fragments from the natural cosmos to flow into her work: as an incomplete structure, as a spontaneous perspective, without being prevented from doing so by reality. Her works do not always follow a thematic line. However, these connect the theme of nature and the complex levels of interpretation. This artwork should be mounted in a sturdy wooden strecher or be placed in an empty frame. Now it is mounted on a light wooden strecher. The signature and the date are on the back of the painting. Not framed.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

In my artistic works, I merge minimalism with abstraction by focusing on the essential elements of nature. I explore the transformation of landscapes, play with forms, lines, and colors, reflecting both the subtle beauty of nature and the intervention, division, and transformation of landscapes. Through the reduction to the essential, I invite the observer to contemplate the harmony or disharmony between humans and nature. I began my artistic journey at the renowned Bauhaus-University in Weimar, delving into interdisciplinary projects of visual arts and participating in various exhibitions. Subsequently, during my two-year studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Hamburg, I took part in two group exhibitions curated for the Hamburg Senate and DGB. I completed my studies in Weimar in 2001. Since 2015, I have been dedicated to art professionally. I started in Berlin, being part of an artist community, and currently, I work in my own small studio in Barcelona.
