Art Description

Painting: Charcoal, Oil on Paper.

The work is of dissident Chinese journalist Wu Gan, and is part of a collection I will work on this year.

I will try and bring the subject of free speech and corruption to the fore through these works.

I work with charcoal and blended oils, sometimes olive or avocado oil, mixed with herbs, or flowers, or whatever I can find to develop a certain red or violet hue...an everchanging recipe .

By purchasing this work will you help fund my career as a full time working artist.
