About The Artwork
The title of the painting is Carmen and it depicts a young dark-faced woman with curly chaotic hair, which she cares about by a beautiful hand. I was inspired by the beauty and strength in women's energy I tried to show with bright colors and brush strokes. I used acrylic paint because I like the intensiveness and simplicity of their nature. This material lets you show as small details as big color blocks on a painting, in some parts you can see grains of the canvas. The accent of the painting is on her eyes and big juicy lips, her gaze is calm and relaxed but all her appearance has fire, hot nature. I want the viewer to feel the energy of this woman and think about what she is thinking.
