About The Artwork
Dyptich (2 canvases, 200x120 cm each). The work is based on the images from the modern media captured the violent actions of cops towards citizens during mass protests. But it's not a political work, this painting is against all violence towards individual person. It has a quote from old italian sculpture depicting Christ and two guards. Also it connected to the myth of a two angels of death meeting the soul in the afterlife. Two female figures on the left and right corners are metaphor of blind Themis and mothers mourning their sons the same time.
