About The Artwork

Another abstract from the New Forest studio of the English artist Munro Wright that reflects and epitomizes the new 21st century art genre of Abstract Spiritualism that he founded in 2016. This abstract painting reflects the positivity of this art genre and the philosophy that the genre is based upon. This painting was created using French acrylics painted on Winsor & Newton professional grade cotton canvas stretched on a deep-edge frame, the edges of which are painted black so the painting requires no frame and is hung flat to the wall. On the back of the frame is a slim metal plaque engraved with the words: New Forest Art Studio. Like all Munro Wright's unique abstracts, the painting come with a Saatchi Art Certificate of Authenticity signed and dated by the artist.

Email: munrowright@gmail.com My role as an artist is: 'to push art beyond its boundaries.' Regarded by some as one of the best abstract artists in the world today, Munro Wright began painting abstracts in 2016 having previously been a copyist rather than an artist. In that year, Munro Wright had a spiritual experience which made him realise that he was a mere graphic illustrator and not a creative artist. So he founded the 21st century art genre 'Abstract Spiritual Expressionism,' which is often referred to as 'Spiritual Expressionism.' This genre is probably the first new art movement of the 21st century, which seeks to portray the spiritual aspect of life through the medium of abstract paintings. By its very nature, the spiritual aspect of life cannot be adequately communicated visually in illustrative graphic art works. The ideal genre for 'Abstract Spiritual Expressionism' is abstract art work. This accords with and reflects the 21st century where traditional analogue ways of doing things and communicating have been replaced by innovative digital processes. Quote: "The only thing that is certain in life is uncertainty."
