Zebras obviously lend themselves beautifully to re-interpreting their stripes and turning them into colourful, chromatic animals as opposed to monochrome. No forward planning again with these two, just anatomically correct and then let the colours do their stuff. As I never know how it will look when finished, it is only when I look at the canvas before I leave the studio each day, do I know if it has worked as an image. As it is so random, the fun is in the finish! Ready to hang in your home.
