About The Artwork
At the very end of the 1980's movie *batteries not included, the ET refurbished apartment building / diner sits in the middle of the twin towers. I like to fix things so this movie inspired me but I was shocked when I saw the World Trade Center twin towers flanking the tiny building at the end, I was moved to paint it and mimicked Vincent van Gogh's strokes from The Starry Night using a ton of paint.
