About The Artwork
I used paint markers on canvas. It took me approximately 50 hours to complete the design. To me it reminds me of a time of peace and tranquility. If you were a baby boomer and remember the late 1960's, then this should bring a smile to your face. Yeah, San Francisco was one party town and life was just groovy. I love bold colors and shapes. Something inside my head tells me to paint until the canvas is completely covered in wild patterns. I guess you could say that I am inspired by cartoons and comic pop art.
