Swiss painter, born *1983 in Basel. Lives and works in Bern and Valencia. My paintings are states of minds, connected to personal experiences in nature and solitude. Simplicity and chaos, outer and inner world, invisible and visible, silence and sound are constant pillars of exploration in my working process. My work is rooted in the visual observation of landscapes and physical experience of raw nature. The dialogue between nature and abstraction and the sensory perceiving for the human being is what interests me. In my paintings I explore textures and layers I find in the woods or mountains. The act of painting is an exploration of accident and control, a dance between color and form and light and line..unexpected, light and free at its highest realization. - Corinne Beutler
