My name is Ekaterina Heiskonen. I was born and raised in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. The main direction of art in which I work is surrealism. My artistic handwriting is dominated by a monochrome main plot and bright color spots. Monochrome human faces and other basic objects have their own symbolism for me. We are often attach great importance to the secondary, ignoring the main thing. Very often you can see my self-portrait among my works. This is connected with the main theme of my paintings - psychology, reflections on my feelings and soul. The science of psychology is my main source of inspiration. I was also greatly influenced by the artist Salvador Dali. I first saw his art when I was 12 years old, and since then he is my favorite artist.
