"goop soup' is a colorful 12" x 16" painting and a continuation in a series that defies expectations of the human form. This composition places eyes and noses comprised from abstract elements of shape, color and pattern, into a further sea of abstract shapes and designs. Waves of purples, oranges, pinks and blues and checker pattern in red and white snakes around the eyes and form the noses. Everything in the composition is outlined in confident semi-gloss black outline, The overall effect of the painting is joyful slight disorientation. The composition is fun and contemporary. This original image is painted in acrylic with tight detail and care on a quality gallery wrapped canvas with 3/4" stretcher bars. The background patterns continue over the edges so there is no need for framing. It includes a hang-wire and is ready to hang with or without framing.
