About The Artwork

John Peshkov explores the world through devices that a person uses to obtain information. Thermal imager, X-ray, sonar, etc. Discarding the received information (including color), he works with the "picture". He is interested in the fantasy world that these devices "see". Uses painting to reflect the simulacra of this mysterious world, similar to Freud's dream world and which he tries to "interpret". The technique in which the artist works implies constant experimentation and the primacy of chance, which makes the result unpredictable.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I classify my work as abstract art in the postmodern era. Born in the USSR, raised in the 90s in the Far East, having worked for many years on TV, I collect the image of our psychedelic present, frozen in a sad rave of absurdity and expectation of change. Having made more than 200 documentaries for TV as a director and participated in the creation of "films about aliens", I am concerned about the methods of mass media management, the concept of total surveillance and the lack of personal.
