I painted this still life in oils. It is rich and heavy with paint as it took a while to evolve. I was leaving a position I'd held for many years so that I could be home and paint more. The beautiful colors evoke the happiness I felt in making the big change in my life. This painting reflects the absolute joy in my heart. The painting extends around the sides of the canvas. It is wired and varnished for hanging.
