pigeons on the grass alas Painting

My intent is to remind the viewer that although every individual is more than likely part of a group, they are most importantly, a unique individual. Perhaps these groups of animals we sometimes overlook can be seen differently. Perhaps instead of noticing herds, flocks or colonies, we’ll begin to notice individuals. I feel my way along. I got closer when I realized why pigeons? After three months, I finally got somewhere with this painting but I haven't landed. I am still very much in flight (am I migrating?). The title is very appealling considering I also spend much of my time reading (so cheers, Gertrude Stein).
