ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Turn your face to the sun & leave the shadows behind. The series "towards the sun" takes up the topic of a positive attitude towards life. The sun is a symbol for pure optimism, which is shown in gold in the pictures. The series is limited to 8 works of art, with each image dedicated to a specific life theme: e.g. love, naturalness, freedom, etc. The work of art "serenity" is the fifth picture in this series and deals with calm and serenity. The golden color is again a symbol for harmony with oneself. The mixed media artwork has a size of 100cm x 80cm and was painted on a high-quality canvas. Acrylic paints, wallpaper & napkin leftovers & pastel chalks & markers were used for this artwork.
