Antonov Roman Antonov Roman was born on 9 May, 1975 in the town of Kovrov, Vladimir region. In 1996 he graduated from the Ivanovo Art School, “Environmental design” department. In 1994-1997 Roman participated in a number of regional exhibitions of young painters and exhibited his paintings to the public in the city of Ivanovo. In 2000 he graduated from the Moscow State Open Pedagogical Institute, “Design” department. In 1998-2001 participated in exhibitions together with the “Nur” creative association in the Central House of Artists in Moscow. Since 2001 has taken part in a variety of joint art shows in the Moscow Central House of Artists in Moscow. The year 2009 was marked by a personal art show in the Art Gallery on Solianka under the title “Nonsimple Primitivism”/nor so simple primitivism/primitivism that is not so simple. At the end of 2009 and the beginning of 2010 had a personal show “The Territory of Kindness” at the “Tsaritsyno” museum-reserve. In 2009 became a member of the Russian Federation of Artists. In 2010 took part in a number of art exhibitions in Moscow such as “Russian Art 2010” in the Federation Tower of Moscow City; “The Age of Aquarius” at “Gostiny Dvor”, “Open Door” at “Mars Gallery”. The same year participated in an art show in Rome under the title “Soul Things”, “Quadrupede Gallery”. 2014 Art Apart Fair(Singapore) и Asia Contemporary Art Show(Hong Kong) галерея gAZE GALLERY ( Germany,Berlin) Was awarded an honourary diploma of the Russian Federation of Artists for the contribution to the Russian culture. His works of art found their way to private collections in Russia, Germany, The Netherlands, Switzerland, France, the USA, Canada, Croatia, Greece,China and Japan. Most recent acquisitions were made by the Zaripov collection in Moscow and a modern art Copelius Family Art Museum in Athens, Greece. Roman Antonov lives and works in Moscow.
