the beach Painting

Painting in acrylic and gouache on canvas board. This work is themed on the beach, using beach-like colours, with a crab and shrimp etc sketched out in pencil and painted with gouache on an impasto acrylic base, in the form of a large crab. I like to use acrylic as a base, and splodg using acyrlic or gouache to suit. Detail work is done using gouache. The painting comes with a standard 2 inch cream coloured mount, and thin perspex to protect; unframed. There is also a sea slater, a sea louse and shells, and a small shrimp-creature. Signed at the top corner in light blue.
